A download that sits at the same percentage is frustrating, especially when you are using mobile data. Before starting the X8 file again, find out whether the problem is the transfer, available storage or the installation step. These are different stages, and repeating the entire process can waste data without fixing the cause.
Find where progress actually stopped
Open your browser download list. An unfinished transfer may show a progress bar or an error. A completed item should be available as a file. If the file is already there but Android will not install it, another download is not automatically the next step.
Return to the checked X8 destination when you need current release details. File names, sizes and versions can change, so an older screenshot is not a reliable way to identify the package you need today.
Leave room beyond the download size
The phone needs space to keep the downloaded package and complete installation. A handset close to its storage limit may finish the transfer but struggle afterwards. Look at Android storage settings before trying again.
If you decide to free space, review large files you no longer need. Keep anything important, and avoid deleting unfamiliar system items simply because an installation failed. Once space is available, check the download list again rather than collecting several copies of the same file.
Use a connection that can finish the transfer
A changing mobile signal may interrupt progress even when other pages still open. Where possible, use a steady Wi-Fi connection. If you are staying on 4G or 5G, give the transfer time and watch its status instead of repeatedly pressing the download button.
When the browser reports an interruption, check the connection before restarting from the recognised address. Keep track of which item completes so you do not accidentally open a partial or older copy.
Read the permission prompt in context
Android may ask whether the browser or file manager can install this package. Check the source and purpose before allowing access. If a warning or permission seems unexplained, leave it unresolved until you can verify the file.
After a successful installation, revisit the source permission in settings and switch it off when no longer needed. Temporary setup access need not stay enabled indefinitely.
Return to the account you already have
Let the app finish its first load. If you previously registered, choose Login and use the existing profile. Reinstalling is a device task; it does not mean you should create another membership.
The Android setup guide gives the full sequence. For a private account problem after installation, use the service recovery or support route rather than posting login details alongside a download question.
